We are a fast-growing, specialist digital marketing agency operating under two distinct brands. Our primary agency, Pink Orange, is a leading education marketing agency working with Higher Education institutions and Independent Schools. We build complex, multi-channel campaign architectures that drive measurable enrolment growth. Our second agency, wonderwork, is a digital marketing agency built for challenger brands. We create marketing ecosystems for growth-getter brands looking to shake up their industry, scale fast, and capture market share. Our team is expanding rapidly, and we are restructuring to support our next phase of growth.

The Role

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit back and delegate. We are looking for a hands-on strategic mastermind. You will oversee a performance team of three (including a highly capable Senior Media Buyer and a Digital Marketing Specialist), but you will also be the one auditing accounts, building 6-month roadmaps, and presenting Quarterly Business Reviews to leadership teams. You need to be a "doer" with executive-level presence. If you consider yourself too senior to dive into a Google Ads account to diagnose a pacing issue, or if you prefer to let Account Managers handle all client communication, this is not the role for you. We are looking for someone who can orchestrate a campaign strategy from initial concept through to full execution, ensuring the team delivers against the plan, while acting as a charismatic, trusted partner to our clients.

What You Will Actually Do

  • Strategic Leadership & Client Consulting: Act as the strategic lead and primary point of contact for key accounts, owning the end-to-end client relationship on the performance side. Conduct 360° account audits across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, and Reddit, compiling prioritised action plans and 6-month roadmaps. Develop and maintain rolling data-driven media plans, budget forecasts, pacing models, and scenario modelling. Lead weekly strategy sessions during campaign launch phases and present comprehensive QBRs to clients with confidence and clarity. Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and propose commercially viable solutions. Design complex audience strategies, including first-party data syncs, remarketing pools, and Performance Max blueprints. Define keyword strategies, match type optimisation, and search term reviews. Oversee the entire Performance team, ensuring strategic alignment across all client accounts and maintaining exceptionally high standards of execution. Work closely with the Client Services and Content/Creative teams to ensure projects are scoped realistically and delivered on time.
  • Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of currently three (Senior Media Buyer, Media Buyer, and Digital Marketing Specialist). Provide strong managerial leadership to get the most out of your team, ensuring they have the strategic context they need to execute effectively.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a confident, native English speaker who is an engaging and charismatic presenter. You must have:

  • Advanced Platform Proficiency: Deep, hands-on expertise across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok, and Snapchat.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness, budget forecasting skills, and the ability to scope projects within budget and resource constraints.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional client communication skills. You must be an engaging, charismatic speaker who can present complex data and strategies to senior stakeholders with clarity.
  • Strategic Vision & Attention to Detail: The ability to see the big picture (multi-channel, multi-market campaigns) while maintaining exceptionally strong attention to detail.
  • Agency Experience: Extensive digital marketing agency experience, ideally having managed multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Management Skills: Proven experience managing and getting the best out of a performance team.
  • Sector Knowledge: A deep understanding of the education sector (Higher Education or Independent Schools) is highly desirable.

Why Join Us?

We are not a massive, faceless corporate agency. We are a fast-growing, ambitious team where you can make a genuine global impact and become an invaluable part of the business. When you join us, you get:

  • Unmatched Variety: You will never get bored. One day you might be developing a global recruitment marketing strategy for a Russell Group university, and the next, building a disruptive campaign for a UK-based scale-up with a challenger brand mindset.
  • Freedom to Grow (and wear many hats): We don’t believe in rigid job descriptions. If you are great at something that benefits the agency, we want to know, and we will give you the freedom to broaden your areas of expertise.
  • A Great Environment: A flat hierarchy, an amazing team, and a dog-friendly office. We are currently based in Fulham but are moving to a larger, central London location in July, which will open up even more networking, training, and development opportunities.
  • Real Investment in You: An annual training and development fund (you choose the course), plus private health insurance.
  • Financial Upside: A competitive salary and a sales bonus scheme to reward the commercial growth you help drive.
  • Hybrid Flexibility: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
