We are a fast-growing, specialist digital marketing agency operating under two distinct brands. Our primary agency, Pink Orange, is a leading education marketing agency working with Higher Education institutions and Independent Schools to build complex, multi-channel campaign architectures that drive measurable enrolment growth. Our second agency, wonderwork, is a digital marketing agency built for challenger brands, creating marketing ecosystems for growth-getter companies looking to shake up their industry and scale fast. We are expanding rapidly and need a resourceful, highly capable Digital Marketing Specialist to join our performance team.
The Role
As the right-hand asset to our new Head of Performance & Digital, you will be uniquely positioned at the intersection of strategy and execution. Because you will be supporting the wider agency, this role offers unparalleled exposure across all departments — from media buying and data analysis to content creation, email marketing, sales, and overarching strategy. You will also work closely with the agency's founder, gaining direct insight into how a fast-growing agency operates at the highest level. This is not a role for someone who needs to be spoon-fed or handed a step-by-step manual for every task. We are looking for a proactive "doer" – a data-savvy, highly resourceful marketer who takes pride in figuring things out and getting things done efficiently. You will be the engine room of our digital marketing output. From setting up complex UTM tracking parameters and building CRM automations, to pulling Google Analytics reports and assembling campaign landing pages, you will be involved in every stage of our clients' digital ecosystems. If you encounter a new software platform you haven't used before, your instinct should be to open it up, explore the documentation, and figure out how it works. Furthermore, we want someone who is genuinely excited about the role of AI in marketing – someone who actively looks for ways to use AI tools to make our agency processes faster, smarter, and more efficient.
What You Will Actually Do
- Analytics & Reporting: Dive into Google Analytics to pull traffic reports, identify trends, and share actionable insights with the wider agency team to inform campaign decisions.
- Tracking & Governance: Set up, maintain, and QA UTM tracking parameters across Meta, Google, and LinkedIn campaigns, ensuring strict adherence to our naming conventions.
- Campaign Implementation: Build and maintain retargeting audiences across all major ad platforms. Create ad copy documents for new campaign launches using our established templates.
- Marketing Automation: Build and configure email marketing automations, segment CRM lists, and ensure data flows seamlessly between platforms.
- Asset Creation: Use landing page builders to build high-converting no-code campaign landing pages. Source high-quality images for campaigns, blogs, and websites.
- Content Updates: Occasionally update website copy or assist with social media posting when required.
- AI Integration: Actively explore and implement AI tools to streamline your workflow and improve agency efficiency.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with 3-4 years of experience who has a strong technical foundation and a problem-solving mindset. You must have:
- Technical Confidence: You know your way around email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign), CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow), and Google Analytics.
- Data Literacy: You are comfortable looking at a spreadsheet of data, spotting the anomalies, and translating numbers into insights.
- Resourcefulness: You have a "figure it out" attitude. You don't wait for someone to tell you how to use a tool; you learn it yourself.
- Exceptional Attention to Detail: You understand that a broken UTM parameter or a misconfigured email automation can ruin a campaign, and you double-check your work meticulously.
- AI Curiosity: You are keen to explore how AI can be leveraged in digital marketing to improve efficiency and output quality.
- Agency Mindset: You are highly organised, capable of juggling multiple tasks across different clients, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Why Join Us?
We are not a massive, faceless corporate agency. We are a fast-growing, ambitious team where you can make a genuine global impact and become an invaluable part of the business. When you join us, you get:
- Unmatched Variety: You will never get bored. One day you might be building an email automation for a Russell Group university, and the next, sourcing creative assets for a disruptive UK-based scale-up.
- Freedom to Grow (and wear many hats): We don't believe in rigid job descriptions. If you are great at something that benefits the agency, we want to know, and we will give you the freedom to broaden your areas of expertise.
- A Great Environment: A flat hierarchy, an amazing team, and a dog-friendly office. We are currently based in Fulham but are moving to a larger, central London location in July, which will open up even more networking, training, and development opportunities.
- Real Investment in You: An annual training and development fund (you choose the course), plus private health insurance.
- Financial Upside: A competitive salary and a sales bonus scheme to reward the commercial growth you help drive.
- Hybrid Flexibility: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.
