About us Pink Elephant builds infrastructure of products at the frontier of mental health on EU and US markets. Mental health is a global crisis hiding in plain sight. Nearly 1 in 8 people live with a mental disorder. Depression and anxiety alone strip $1 trillion from the global economy every year. Conventional treatment leaves most patients cycling through mediocre solutions for years - undertreated, undersupported, and underinformed. Progressive therapies are showing results up to 10 times more effective than standard care. Yet fewer than 5% of people can access them. We're here to close that gap.

Our portfolio spans two fronts. The first is psychedelics - building the media, vetted practitioners directory and education for both therapists and end users. Such a synergy is designed to make evidence-based psychedelic care a real option for the millions who need it, not just those lucky enough to know the right person. The second part is everyday mental healthcare - mental health diagnostics, antidepressant journeys, the unmet clinical touchpoints, the patients who leave a 20-minute appointment with a prescription and no roadmap.

States of Mind is a media platform exploring psychedelics, mental health, personal transformation, and human flourishing. We are building a media-first, video-first ecosystem designed to educate, inspire, and connect a global audience through podcasts, editorial content, social media, community programming, and expert-led conversations.

We are looking for an experienced Media & Communications Manager to help drive content distribution, audience growth, and brand consistency across all channels.

The Role

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands how modern media companies operate. We’re looking for someone who thinks like a media operator rather than a traditional social media manager. You will work closely with our editorial, podcast, design, and marketing teams to ensure content is strategically planned, distributed, and amplified across platforms. The ideal candidate understands how to transform podcasts, articles, expert interviews, and community conversations into engaging content that grows audience and brand awareness. This role will also serve as a key liaison between our internal team and external creative partners, helping ensure projects move smoothly from concept to publication.

The ideal person understands:

  • Editorial strategy
  • Podcast distribution
  • Audience growth
  • Content repurposing
  • Community engagement
  • Brand storytelling

They are comfortable moving between strategy and execution and can help ensure our growing media ecosystem remains aligned, organized, and impactful.

Responsibilities: What you drive

  • Manage day-to-day communications and content distribution across social platforms
  • Develop and execute social media strategies that support audience growth and engagement
  • Coordinate with podcast editors, designers, and creative partners to ensure timely content delivery
  • Repurpose podcast, editorial, and community content into platform-specific formats
  • Maintain brand consistency across all communications and visual assets
  • Collaborate with editorial and leadership teams on content planning and campaign execution
  • Support the launch and promotion of podcast episodes, articles, events, and community initiatives
  • Monitor content performance via analytics and identify opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Contribute to content calendars, distribution plans, and audience engagement strategies

Experience: What you bring

  • 3+ years of experience in media, communications, content marketing, editorial, publishing, podcasting, and related fields in the psychedelics field - experience in psychedelics is a must!
  • Proven experience growing media companies and engaged online communities
  • Experience building podcasts, newsletters, editorial content, and media brands
  • Excellent written communication and organizational skills
  • Experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders and creative teams
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, X, and other channels
  • Passion for mental health, psychedelics, personal development, wellness, or related fields
  • Based in Europe or able to work primarily within European time zones
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Comfortable working remotely with a distributed international team
