WHAT'S THE CHALLENGE

The purpose of this position is to lead the Financial Institutions Business Development and Partnership strategy across the UK, the continental European markets and the USA.

This position is available on either a hybrid or fully remote basis within the EU or the UK.

WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH

You’ll partner closely with our FI Partnership global business teams to build a cohesive user journey that delivers the right product to the right users, at the right time.

  • WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Lead the Financial Institutions Business Development for Europe, the UK, and the US to establish strategic partnerships to drive exponential business growth in the regions for acquiring, issuing and cross-border payments.
  • Perform market research and acquire industry intelligence to provide innovative and market-leading payment solutions for our clients.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders e. g. compliance & risk, leagal, product & implementation teams, etc. to review partner capabilities and ensure the smooth go-live of new partners.
  • Review new business flows together with compliance and risk teams to ensure adherence to Ping Pong’s internal policies to identify any new potential risks and match business requirements to the appropriate partners.
  • Maintain and manage operational issues with existing partners.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5+ years of relevant and progressive work experience in business development, service and/or solution sales, and account management, in the payment services sector
  • Multi-jurisdictional remit (UK, US and EU) is a strong plus.
  • An established network of partners and prospects is required.
  • Relevant experience in managing business development operations across various jurisdictions.
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding business-established goals.
  • Ability to drive operational excellence through innovative initiatives.
  • Strong collection and payment knowledge across various payment rails like domestic, cross-border, FX and value-added services in various segments like e-Commerce, B2B, platforms.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Educated with a relevant degree in business, project management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Customer-centric, analytical, detail-oriented, and have an understanding of the UK and EU foreign exchange landscape for corporate clients.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work well with both technical and non-technical individuals up and down the organization, capable of absorbing large amounts of information and the ability to distil it down to the essentials.
  • Influence and advise management on necessary changes and execute against the portfolio and set plan.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to adapt to the global environment.
  • Ability to juggle several projects and shift priorities as needed.
  • Exhibiting a creative and innovative, forward-thinking approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to stay calm and collected and focus on solving problems.
