WHAT'S THE CHALLENGE?As a (Senior) Manager of Business Development â Enterprise Payments, you will play a handsâon role in originating, developing, and closing new enterprise opportunities within the payments ecosystem. You will manage complex sales cycles with large organisations, working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored payment solutions for enterprise clients. This role requires strong execution skills, a consultative sales mindset, and solid knowledge of global payment solutions, while contributing to regional and global growth objectives.
WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITHYou will be part of the global Business Development team and report into the Global Head of BD. You will collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Compliance, Operations, and Engineering teams, ensuring enterprise clients receive wellâintegrated, scalable, and compliant payment solutions throughout the sales and onboarding lifecycle.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING- Enterprise Sales & Growth Strategy: Identify, pursue, and secure partnerships with highâvalue enterprise clients, including but not limited to large marketplaces, digital platforms, and major smart device / EV makers businesses. Execute a goâtoâmarket strategy targeting endâtoâend payment enablement opportunities including acquiring, issuing and B2B payments. Build solid relationships across multiple levels within the organization of the enterprise clients and become the goâto person. Manage complex negotiations with Câlevel executives to establish longâterm strategic partnerships.
- Market Expansion & Competitive Positioning: Identify new verticals and emerging payment trends to expand market reach. Analyze competitive positioning and develop valueâdriven propositions tailored to enterprise clients. Work closely with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and sales strategies for acquiring and issuing solutions.
- CrossâFunctional Collaboration & Execution: Partner with Product, Compliance, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and execution of payment solutions. Drive sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue growth tracking in alignment with company targets.
- 6+ years of relevant and progressive work experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships within payments, fintech, or crossâborder payments.
- Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including crossâborder payments, acquiring, issuing, or B2B payments.
- Exposure to large corporations from previous Payment/Banking or Business Development careers.
- Proven track record of closing large, complex deals and exceeding revenue targets.
- Educated with a relevant degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen.
- Ability to drill down, persistence, and a neverâgiveâup spirit.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute highâimpact business development strategies.
- Strong consultative sales approach and experience negotiating with enterprise Câlevel executives.
