We are seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to oversee financial operations and support strategic decision-making across a growing, international business. This role will work closely with senior leadership while leading and developing the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including reporting, cash flow, payroll, and financial controls
- Lead and manage finance teams across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and accuracy
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Support senior stakeholders with financial analysis, reporting, and business insights
- Maintain and improve internal controls, processes, and financial procedures
- Monitor working capital, including debtors and creditors, and support cash flow management
- Contribute to business planning, budgeting, and long-term financial strategy
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiencies
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally at Financial Controller level
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and controls
- Experience managing or mentoring finance teams
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
