The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
Reporting to the Head of Cleaning and Grounds (Shepperton), the Group Grounds Operative focuses on the cleanliness of the Studios.
Hours of work: 8 hours per day, between the hours of 06:00 – 15:00 Monday – Friday, with one weekend every 3 – 4 weeks.
Principle accountabilities:
- Monitor and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the studio site
- Clean, sweep and de-weed all roads and pathways, car parks, external lighting and signage
- Snow and ice clearance/gritting when required
- Remove refuse, white goods and general rubbish
- Remove rubble and pallets
- Jet wash buildings and covered areas
- Escalate any issues to manager and/or facility services team
- Maintain, clean and report any issues with the Scarab Road sweeper and electric vehicles
Nature and scope: Most of the individual’s time is spent completing the principle accountabilities. There are minimal planning horizons, and they mainly complete in‑day tasks. Some technical training may be needed but this can be provided on‑the‑job. There is minimal autonomy and direction is provided by management. Health and Safety adherence is crucial.
Skills and Experience:
- Any relevant qualifications e.g. Health and Safety, forklift truck driving
- C1 licence preferable due to driving of 7.5 Tonne Scarab
- Commercial industry experience and knowledge of sector
- Strong team player and orientation towards teamwork
- The ability to trouble‑shoot problems and think laterally
- Full driving licence
