Pinewood. AI is looking for an experienced Recruitment Resourcer to support a focused period of rapid growth across our technology and operational teams.

This is a fast-paced, delivery-focused role centred on finding, engaging and screening candidates across software development, testing, data and a range of operational positions.

You’ll work closely with our Talent Acquisition team to build strong candidate pipelines, proactively approach suitable people and complete initial screening calls.

Your work will help us identify qualified candidates quickly and keep recruitment activity moving across multiple vacancies.

This role will suit someone from a recruitment agency environment who is accustomed to working at pace, proactively picking up the phone and creating candidate momentum through consistent, high-quality conversations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively source candidates for software development, testing, data and operational vacancies.
  • Use Linked In Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, job sites, Workable and other relevant sourcing channels to identify suitable candidates.
  • Search for and engage both active applicants and passive candidates.
  • Drive candidate engagement through regular outbound calling and targeted messages, rather than relying primarily on applications.
  • Complete initial screening calls to assess candidates against the key requirements of each role.
  • Use Metaview to capture accurate and consistent notes from candidate screening conversations.
  • Build and maintain active candidate pipelines across multiple vacancies.
  • Present suitable, qualified and engaged candidates to the relevant Talent Acquisition Specialist.
  • Review incoming applications and quickly identify candidates who meet the requirements of each position.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records, activities and pipeline stages within Workable.
  • Follow up with candidates promptly and provide a positive, professional candidate experience.
  • Support focused recruitment campaigns where additional candidate volume is required.
  • Work at pace against agreed vacancy priorities, sourcing targets and screening-call expectations.
  • Provide regular updates on candidate activity, pipeline strength and any challenges affecting delivery.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within a recruitment agency, ideally in a candidate resourcing or delivery-focused role.
  • A proactive, phone-led approach, with the confidence and energy to spend a significant part of each day speaking directly with prospective candidates.
  • Experience proactively sourcing and approaching candidates rather than relying solely on applications.
  • Confidence conducting initial screening calls and assessing candidates against defined role requirements.
  • Hands-on experience using Linked In Recruiter to identify and engage prospective candidates.
  • A good understanding of Boolean search techniques and the ability to create effective searches for different vacancies.
  • Experience using job sites, candidate databases and an applicant tracking system.
  • Comfortable adopting recruitment technology such as Workable and Metaview to manage candidate activity and accurately capture screening information.
  • Comfortable working to clear activity and delivery targets while maintaining the quality of candidate assessment and experience.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and personalised candidate messages.
  • The ability to understand different job requirements and identify candidates with relevant skills and experience.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage activity across several vacancies at the same time.
  • Experience sourcing technology candidates would be beneficial, particularly across software development, testing, quality assurance or data roles.
  • Key Attributes
  • Proactive and confident in approaching candidates.
  • Naturally comfortable picking up the phone and starting conversations.
  • Resilient, persistent and motivated by turning candidate conversations into strong recruitment pipelines.
  • Able to build rapport quickly and communicate confidently with different types of candidates.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, target-driven environment.
  • Resourceful in finding candidates through different platforms and search methods.
  • Organised, responsive and capable of managing a high level of candidate activity.
  • Focused on quality while maintaining the pace needed to support rapid growth.
  • Naturally curious and willing to develop an understanding of different technical and operational roles.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working as part of a wider Talent Acquisition team.
