We’re looking for an experienced and commercially aware Senior OEM Relationship Manager to join our team at Pinewood.AI. In this role, you’ll take responsibility for developing and managing key relationships with Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), ensuring seamless integration of Pinewood’s platform with their systems. You’ll work directly with OEM stakeholders to identify mutual opportunities, shape integration plans, and support effective rollouts across dealer networks.
This is a role for someone with a deep understanding of the automotive industry, who’s confident working with senior stakeholders and translating complex requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with OEMs at both central and regional levels.
- Act as the main point of contact for designated OEMs, supporting technical, commercial, and operational engagement.
- Identify and prioritise integration requirements that align with mutual objectives and unlock dealer value.
- Guide OEM technical teams in working with Pinewood’s standard APIs to promote scalable integration models.
- Manage pilot activities and integration rollouts across OEM networks, ensuring appropriate documentation, training, and internal coordination.
- Monitor integration projects, ensuring expectations are managed and issues are addressed promptly.
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing, supporting the wider OEM team and other stakeholders with updates, context, and training as needed.
- Travel as required to meet OEM partners, build relationships, and align on objectives.
- Strong experience in the automotive sector, particularly working with or within OEMs, dealer groups, or automotive technology providers.
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholder relationships and complex commercial or technical projects.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, track progress, and escalate effectively when needed.
- Confident at engaging with technical teams and supporting integration-focused discussions.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally to support OEM relationships.
- Experience with automotive software systems or Dealer Management Systems (DMS).
- Familiarity with API-based integrations and digital transformation projects within automotive retail.
- Knowledge of OEM compliance, rollout strategies, and dealer network structures.
