The role will be based in London with the expectation of a hybrid work model. PineBridge Investments is seeking a Client Relations Associate. Reporting to a Vice President, Client Relations, the role will work closely with the Head of Client Relations EMEA to support the UK client book and help deepen relationships with UK investors. Support for other regions may also be required, depending on demand and capacity. The role will play a key part in onboarding and servicing new and existing clients, partnering with Sales, Investment Teams and other internal stakeholders to guide investors from prospect through to client.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong working relationships and delivering client solutions that meet or exceed expectations. Although this is an entry-level role, it would suit someone with a strong client relations, client service or operational background who is looking to develop into a client-facing role over time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Excellence in Client Service - Ability to build long-term relationships with key internal stakeholders; Ensure client requests are responded to in an accurate and timely manner; Work with colleagues to gather information and perform analysis to execute specific requests and inquiries; Escalate and articulate client issues and requests to management and other PineBridge constituents and be innovative in crafting a solution.
  • Client onboarding - Coordinating the onboarding process for new & existing clients and coordinate with all internal teams, legal ops and trading teams. Ability to oversee timely and accurate implementation of new portfolios alongside subsequent change events.
  • Client Implementation and Relationship Building – Partner with the Sales and Investment Teams for the on-boarding of new mandates through effective coordination and project management; Provide consistent oversight of relationships to ensure a positive experience which promotes growth of the relationship over time.
  • Internal Partner within MetLife - Provide operational support to senior team members with follow-up, back-up or other functions which may be required on an ad hoc basis; Build strong working relationships with internal PineBridge teams in order to provide timely responses to requests from clients, internal colleagues or PineBridge management.
  • Client Database Maintenance – Utilize and assist with creating processes, enhancements and testing of in-house software databases to administer client data and process flows, such as onboarding’s.

Person Specification:

  • Experience of client relations in the financial services industry ideal
  • A client-focused, team-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once.
  • Proactive and highly self-motivated individual with excellent organization and management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of investments, industry legal and regulatory concepts and compliance and operational requirements.
  • Excellent written and oral communications, Excellent presentation/public speaking skills ideal
  • Strong Funds focus
  • Strong analytic skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different work groups.
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Experience in working with AI
