We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager for a temporary holiday cover contract based in Kingston Upon Thames.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the construction site.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
- Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management.
- Resolve on-site issues efficiently to minimise delays.
- Ensure quality standards are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry.
- Valid SMSTS certificate.
- Valid CSCS card.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety regulations.
Desirable
- Experience in residential, commercial, refurbishment, or fit-out projects.
- Relevant construction management qualification (NVQ Level 6 or equivalent).
