As a Relief Chef Manager you will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of a healthy, nutritious and fun menu for the students and staff in schools in your region. You will focus on delivering the highest quality of food and service along with having the flair, originality and the ability to make this one of the best catering offers in the area.
Your responsibilities will include:

Leading, developing, coaching, training, and motivating the teams in your kitchens

Supporting control of the catering operation including stock, food, and labour costs

Ensuring consistency of food and service standards delivered to the students and staff

Driving sales through monthly promotions and added value events

Managing and improving all controllable costs

Overseeing menu development

Maintaining company systems & procedures, and legislation

Carrying out regular audits to ensure standards are being met
Our client requires someone who shares their passion for delivering exceptional food and service to their schools along with the following skills and experience:

A full UK Driving License

You will have knowledge of education catering having used fresh ingredients and possess excellent craft skills

You have Food Hygiene level 2 & 3 (further training will be available)

You have excellent knowledge of health and safety practices

Computer literate with experience of using different systems

You’re self-motivated, able to use your own initiative, have a desire to learn and achieve whilst motivating others
Firstly, we offer fantastic hours. You’ll work Monday to Friday during school term time meaning more time with friends and family and no working at Christmas!
This role is:

40 hours per week – with no late nights
