Pineapple Recruitment are working on an exclusive basis to recruit a Finance Officer for a permanent, part-time position. In this role, you will take the lead in providing financial management support to teams delivering core projects. You will join a small, knowledgeable, and collaborative team within a supportive working environment that prioritises a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide regular project finance reports, including budget analysis, expenditure tracking, and forecasting.
- Reconcile project tracking within the financial systems against final accounts.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal departments and external parties.
- Support budget holders with the preparation of annual statutory accounts, financial reporting, and audit processes.
- Ensure all purchase invoices are accurately coded and processed within the financial system.
- Generate and issue sales invoices to clients, ensure incoming revenue is correctly matched against outstanding invoices, and manage collections for overdue payments.
- Prepare and upload journal entries and regularly monitor intercompany accounts to track internal payments and balance accounts.
- Cross-reference and reconcile ongoing project tracking in the financial system against the final completion accounts.
- Support operational leads with mid-year and year-end financial reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts and compile year-end files.
