We are seeking a flexible and credible HR Advisor to provide high-quality, face-to-face support on a full or part-time basis. This is a visible, impactful role where you will build trusted relationships with leadership teams, guiding them through sensitive people issues and complex casework.
The Role
Working as part of a supportive and collaborative HR team, you will manage a variety of employee relations matters with a high degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-site Advisory: Act as the first point of contact for senior leaders, providing advice on day-to-day HR issues.
- Casework Management: Lead on disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence cases, including acting as an investigating officer and writing formal reports.
- Change Support: Assist with redundancy and restructuring consultations.
- Policy & Compliance: Support the implementation of HR policies and stay aligned with current employment law.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with various representatives and senior stakeholders.
What You’ll Need
- HR Experience: Proven experience advising on employee relations matters and managing casework.
- Qualifications: CIPD qualified or (Level 5 preferred), working towards a qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
- Flexibility: As this is not a desk-based role, you must be able to travel independently to various sites across the region, sometimes at short notice.
- Communication: The ability to handle sensitive situations calmly and professionally is essential.
