Pineapple Careers is delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing business based on the outskirts of Horsham, who are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join their friendly team on a part-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with bookkeeping or finance administration experience who enjoys variety, accuracy and being part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the finance function and play a key role in ensuring accounts processes run smoothly.
  • Processing purchase and sales Ledger entries accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond to email correspondence from suppliers and customers.
  • Entering sales and purchase invoice data into QuickBooks.
  • Producing statements for accounts receivable and reconciling customers’ payments.
  • Setting up credit accounts for new customers.
  • Liaising with the sales team regarding queries, credits and returns.
  • Preparing and executing agreed payment runs.
  • Requesting and reviewing trade references.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in using QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Experienced in bookkeeping, especially accounts payable.
  • A Microsoft Office whizz, particularly Excel.
  • Top-notch problem-solving abilities.
