Our client is seeking a driven and motivated Sage Intacct Solution Consultant to join their consulting team and support the continued growth of their Sage Intacct practice. In this role, you will work directly with customers as a trusted partner—leading the delivery of best-fit solutions from pre‑sales discovery and solution design through to successful end‑to‑end project delivery. This is a full‑time, remote role.
Solution Leadership & Implementation
- Lead end‑to‑end Sage Intacct implementations using established delivery methodologies
- Own discovery sessions and translate complex business requirements into scalable system designs
- Architect and configure Sage Intacct modules to support financial, operational, and reporting needs
- Oversee data migration strategy, validation, and go‑live execution
- Develop and review testing strategies and client acceptance plans
- Design advanced reports and dashboards using Sage Intacct reporting tools
Client Advisory & Engagement
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders and finance leadership
- Guide clients on best practices, process improvement, and system optimization
- Provide post‑go‑live oversight and support for escalated or complex issues
- Identify opportunities for additional services, enhancements, and long‑term optimization
Pre‑Sales & Strategic Support
- Lead or support pre‑sales activities including discovery sessions and solution demonstrations
- Partner with sales to shape solution scope, delivery approach, and estimates
- Engage with Sage and third‑party ISV partners to support solution design as needed
Team Collaboration
- Review solution designs and configurations for quality and alignment with best practices
- Collaborate across delivery, sales, operations, and support teams
- Contribute to internal process improvements, documentation, templates, and knowledge‑base content
Project Ownership
- Manage multiple complex client engagements simultaneously
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
- Provide regular project updates to internal stakeholders and clients
- Proactively elevate risks and challenges while driving resolution
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong accounting and finance background with the ability to advise on best practices
- Proven experience delivering ERP implementations from discovery through go‑live
- Deep understanding of financial systems and ERP architecture
- Ability to translate complex business needs into effective technical solutions
- Excellent client‑facing communication skills and executive presence
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant and/or Accounting certifications
- Experience with multi‑entity, multi‑currency, or complex financial structures
- Experience with third‑party integrations and ISV solutions
- Prior consulting firm or VAR experience
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
