Are you a practical, proactive, and reliable individual with a passion for maintaining safe and welcoming school environments? Pine Ridge and Lorraine Federation are looking to appoint a reliable and efficient part-time Premises Assistant/Caretaker on a permanent basis based at Lorraine Infant School and Nursery.

Your opportunity

We are looking for someone who will care for our buildings and grounds, carrying out minor repairs as well as managing site health & safety compliance checks. The post holder will be expected to liaise effectively with contractors and be willing to attend appropriate training courses. As a key holder, the role will also include security of the school premises including all buildings and contents. The successful candidate will be expected to respect the need for confidentiality that exists when working in a school environment and will enjoy the rewards of working within a friendly and co-operative team.

The Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Salary: GLF Associate 2.1 - 2.15 - £23,914 - £25,181 FTE
  • Pro Rata Salary: £14,946.25 - £15,738.13 (based on 22.5hrs) / £16,606.94 - £17,486.81 (based on 25hrs)
  • Hours of Work: 22.5hrs or 25hrs a week - Monday to Friday 7-8:30am or 9am and 3-6pm (52 weeks a year)
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Closing Date: Sunday 31st May at 11.59pm
  • Interview Date: TBC
