Are you passionate about supporting students to reach their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a real difference in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers in lesson planning, evaluating, and adjusting lessons to meet the needs of individuals and groups of pupils.
- Work closely with students’ educational teams and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies that support behavioural integration and learning within the school environment.
- Support staff in managing challenging behaviours, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Implement agreed learning activities using strategies in liaison with teachers, helping pupils achieve their next steps in learning.
- Partner with other adults involved in the educational process, liaising with external professionals and parents/carers, and taking the initiative to establish links when necessary.
- Support pupils’ social and emotional well-being, reporting concerns to teachers as appropriate.
