We're recruiting: Teacher - Green Programmes
39 weeks per year, term time | 9am-5pm
Are you a creative, flexible teacher who believes in recognising every student's strengths and potential?
At Pinc Woodlands, you'll deliver Level 2 and Level 3 Green Programmes for neurodivergent young people aged 16-25, using practical, multidisciplinary and real-world learning to help students achieve qualifications, develop independence and explore future opportunities.
You'll plan engaging lessons, assess progress, provide individualized support and create a safe, neuro-affirming, trauma-informed learning environment. Working closely with Learning Support colleagues, families and community partners, you'll help students make academic, practical, social and emotional progress.
What we're looking for
You'll have a Level 3 teaching qualification and experience working with young people with SEND in further education or specialist provision. You'll be confident supporting students through full qualifications, adapting your teaching to individual interests and needs, and working collaboratively as part of a team.
Desired qualifications also include:
- Level 2 equivalent English and maths, or willingness to achieve these within your first academic year.
- Level 4 or above teaching qualification in post-16 education.
- Enhanced DBS with child workforce clearance.
We're looking for someone resourceful, organised and passionate about inclusive, strengths-based education. Experience with digital teaching tools and creative software is desirable.
