Do you have the operational leadership, technical expertise and vision to design and deliver exceptional examination experiences for neurodivergent learners? Are you motivated by the opportunity to transform assessment environments so that every candidate can demonstrate their true ability without unnecessary barriers? At Pinc, we are reimagining what examinations can look like — and we are seeking a senior leader to join us as Head of Exams to shape, scale and lead this ambitious national provision.

About Pinc Exams

Pinc Exams is a newly established initiative within the Pinc Education Group, created to provide neuro-affirming, purpose-built examination environments for neurodivergent young people. Our centres are designed to remove barriers often present in traditional exam settings, ensuring candidates can perform at their best in environments that reflect equity, inclusion and accessibility at their core. Our first centre is based in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, with further national expansion planned — including a second centre in Stoke — as part of a wider growth strategy. While initially serving Pinc students, Pinc Exams has clear ambitions to extend access to external candidates, widening impact across the education sector.

As Head of Exams, you will provide senior operational leadership across all examination activity within the Group. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of exams across multiple sites, ensuring full compliance, operational excellence and an outstanding candidate experience. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role with national scope, combining operational oversight, regulatory compliance, team leadership and service development.

So, what else are we looking for?

  • Significant experience in exams, qualifications or assessment operations
  • Strong leadership experience in complex, multi-site or national environments
  • Experience managing teams, performance and service delivery at scale
  • Ability to manage budgets, forecasting and operational planning
  • Experience managing risk, governance and operational continuity
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across internal and external partners
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong written communication skills across policy, reporting and operational documentation
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft 365 and confidence with digital systems

Our Campus clusters are as follows: Leeds Museum & Leeds Art Gallery (Leeds), Cartwright Hall & Dean Clough (Bradford & Halifax), Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery & Aston Hall (Birmingham), Touchstones, Salford Art Gallery, Bolton Museum (Greater Manchester), Manchester Museum, 22 Lever St, Manchester Craft & Design Centre (Central Manchester), Heritage Centre, The Potteries & Middleport (Macclesfield & Stoke), National Museum (Cardiff), Design Museum (London).

To apply for this position, please send your CV to [email]. Once received, we will email you an application form for completion.

Closing date: 7th June 2026.
