Full-Time | Permanent | Term Time Only (39 weeks, including the last week of August)
Are you passionate about supporting young people with SEND to develop the skills, confidence and independence needed for their future? Pinc College is seeking a dedicated Job Coach to support learners aged 16β25 as they engage in meaningful work experience, employability programmes and workplace learning opportunities. Working across college campuses and employer sites, you'll play a key role in helping students prepare for employment, supported internships, volunteering and further education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting students in work placements and work-related learning activities
- Coaching learners to develop employability skills, independence and confidence
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with employers and community partners
- Supporting students with SEND through personalised workplace adjustments and coaching
- Monitoring progress, recording outcomes and maintaining accurate records
- Promoting student wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusive practice
- Supporting employer understanding of SEND and reasonable adjustments
- Contributing to student reviews, enrolment events and progression planning
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience working with young people with SEND, including those with EHCPs
- Experience within Further Education, specialist provision or employability programmes
- Strong coaching, communication and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding, inclusive practice and student support
- Excellent organisation, record-keeping and IT skills
- A commitment to helping young people achieve meaningful progression outcomes
