Pinar Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Home Manager to lead The Oaks, our 10-bed nursing home supporting adults with learning disabilities and associated needs. As Registered Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, quality, safety, staffing, regulatory compliance and financial performance of the home. You will create an open and positive culture in which people are listened to, staff feel supported and high-quality care is delivered consistently. Maintaining registration with the Care Quality Commission and ensuring compliance with the CQC Fundamental Standards. Ensuring people receive individualised support that promotes independence, dignity, choice, communication and inclusion. Maintaining high-quality care plans, health action plans, communication profiles and risk assessments. Acting as the service’s safeguarding lead and responding promptly to concerns. Recruiting, developing, supervising and managing the performance of the staff team. Managing staffing rotas, training, supervision, competency and workforce requirements. Leading quality audits, service-improvement plans and preparation for CQC assessments. Managing incidents, complaints, safeguarding investigations and statutory notifications. Building effective relationships with families, advocates, commissioners, social workers and healthcare professionals. Managing the home within its agreed budget and monitoring staffing, agency and operational costs. Participating in the management on-call rota. A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care or an equivalent management qualification, or the ability and willingness to complete it within an agreed timescale. The ability to obtain and maintain CQC registration as the Registered Manager. Substantial experience of working in adult social care. Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and associated needs. Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or in a comparable adult social-care management role. Strong knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. Experience managing care plans, risk assessments, medication systems, quality audits and service improvements. Experience managing staffing levels, rotas and service budgets. Previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager within a learning-disability service would be particularly advantageous. Why join Pinar Care?
