Job Title Temporary FLT and Crane Operator ## Location Between sites (driving required) - main site Wallsend ## Contract Type / Duration Agency temporary position for 3 months Start ASAP, PAYE only 37.5 hours per week Possibility of change to early/late shift Overtime available at x 1.3 ## Pay £19.66 per hour * ## Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Semi-skilled Technician with strong FLT (16T), overhead crane, and slinging/lifting/rigging credentials to support day-to-day operations across multiple sites. The role also involves driving between sites, so a full driving licence is essential. * ## Key Responsibilities Operate 16T forklift truck (FLT) safely and efficiently Operate overhead crane in line with site procedures and safety requirements Perform slinging, lifting, and rigging duties competently Conduct pre-use checks and maintain safe working practices Support workshop/production activities as directed Drive van/truck between sites when required Follow all health and safety rules, site systems, and lifting plans * ## Essential Requirements (Must Have) Full driving licence \- max 3 points Transferable FLT certificates, including: * 16T FLT licence Crane certificate (including overhead crane) Slinging & Lifting qualifications Experience demonstrating safe operation of FLT and crane equipment * ## Availability Start ASAP Able to commit for 3 months on an agency temporary basis GATEX
