Industrial Scaler - Carlin How - Long term work available - Average 42 hours week + overtime available - £15.62 per hour We are seeking a number of Industrial Scalers to join leading local employer. This is a highly physical, safety-critical position operating within a fast-paced, heavy industry environment. What You’ll Be Doing * Surface Descaling, operating high-pressure water jets, mechanical rollers, and chemical processing equipment to strip iron oxide layers from hot and cold steel. * Using heavy-duty pneumatic tools (needle scalers, air chisels, and grinders) to clean intricate components, moulds, and structural joints. * Clearing built-up residue from steel, furnaces, and other areas . What We Are Looking For * Previous experience working in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or construction environment * Capability to handle heavy-duty manual labour and operate tools for extended periods of time * A strict commitment to health and safety regulations * Readiness to work a rotating shift pattern (10-12 hour shifts which includes weekends) to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation.
