Quality Technician Based at DL3, Darlington Negotiable on experience  Full-Time, Permanent We’re looking for a proactive Quality Technician to support quality control across manufacturing operations in Darlington. You’ll ensure product compliance through inspection, testing, and documentation, working closely with production and engineering teams. You will: Conduct inspections of materials, components, and finished products Use precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM) Support investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Maintain quality records and calibration schedules Assist with internal/external audits (ISO 9001) Promote continuous improvement and 5S initiatives Requirements Experience in a  quality role within manufacturing Familiar with ISO 9001 standards Able to read engineering drawings Skilled in measurement tools and inspection methods Strong attention to detail and communication skills Desirable: NVQ/HNC in Engineering or related field Knowledge of Six Sigma, FMEA, PPAP, SPC Experience with lean or continuous improvement
