We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Mechanical/Hydraulic Assembly Technician to join a production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly of a wide range of mechanical and hydraulic equipment, including large steel fabrications and associated ancillary systems. You will work to allocated tasks, ensuring high-quality, safe, and efficient assembly processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble a range of mechanical and hydraulic components, including cylinders and operating systems, in line with engineering specifications and production plans.
Work to allocated tasks as outlined in the Production MPS, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate builds.
Conduct quality checks during and after assembly to ensure products meet required standards and specifications.
Handle large steel fabrications safely and effectively, following all health and safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve technical issues and improve processes where required.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in the mechanical/hydraulic assembly of industrial or heavy engineering equipment.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, including cylinders, pumps, and operating mechanisms.
Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
Understanding of safe handling practices for large steel fabrications.
Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and quality
