Join a busy Environmental Services team, providing essential administrative and customer support across environmental, licensing and regulatory services. What you’ll be doing: * Be a key point of contact for residents, businesses and colleagues through phone, email and web chat. * Accurately log enquiries, provide clear operational guidance and refer complex regulatory matters to specialist officers. * Prepare licences, process payments, reconcile corporate credit cards and manage purchase orders. * Manage specific workflows, including pest control enquiries and administrative processes supporting local testing and animal welfare services. * Coordinate meetings, record actions, schedule compliance reminders and keep database records accurate and up to date. What we’re looking for: * 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above, including English and Mathematics. * Substantial experience working in a busy office administration environment. * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. * Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with difficult or sensitive enquiries calmly and professionally. * Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
