Forklift Warehouse Operative in Sutton-in-Ashfield. £13.80 – £14.45 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime: 1.5x weekdays | 1.75x weekends. 12-hour Continental Shift Pattern – 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am.
Pin Point Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Warehouse Operative to join a well-established print manufacturing business based in Sutton-in-Ashfield. This is a key warehouse role within a busy print manufacturing environment, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of paper, materials and finished products across the site.
The Role
You will be responsible for operating a Clamp Truck to safely move and handle paper, raw materials and finished products throughout the warehouse and production areas. The role operates on a 12-hour continental shift pattern, covering both days and nights.
Shift pattern:
- 3 nights
- 5 days off
- 3 days
- 3 nights
- 5 days off
- 3 nights
- 6 days off
Then repeat. Shift times: 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Clamp Truck safely and efficiently
- Moving and handling paper, materials and finished print products
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving materials between warehouse and production areas
- Storing materials safely and efficiently
- Preparing materials for production
- Moving finished goods ready for dispatch
- Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any defects
- Completing relevant warehouse paperwork and stock movements
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following all company health & safety procedures
- Working closely with the warehouse and production teams
About You
- Previous Clamp Truck experience – highly desirable
- A valid external Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Extensive, recent experience operating FLTs
- Previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or production environment
- Experience handling paper, rolls or similar materials would be advantageous
- Experience loading and unloading vehicles
- Excellent awareness of workplace health & safety
- A reliable and flexible approach to shift work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer
