We are seeking a skilled Systems Integration/Commissioning Technician for integrating, commissioning, and testing complex electrical and electronic systems, ensuring they meet the required standards before delivery to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform commissioning and integration of electrical and control systems.
  • Work closely with customers to support and complete factory acceptance testing (FAT).
  • Provide technical support both on-site and in the field, including occasional offshore work.
  • Maintain and service integration test areas and associated equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to review test specifications, identify issues, and suggest improvements.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, and in-house fault finding.
  • Participate in an on-call technical support rota once suitably trained.

Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Strong technical understanding of electronics, hydraulics, and/or computer systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures.
  • Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work offshore when required.

Desirable:

  • ONC/OND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 16th/17th/18th Edition electrical regulations.
  • Experience with system integration, testing, or commissioning in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement practices.
