We are seeking a skilled Systems Integration/Commissioning Technician for integrating, commissioning, and testing complex electrical and electronic systems, ensuring they meet the required standards before delivery to customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform commissioning and integration of electrical and control systems.
- Work closely with customers to support and complete factory acceptance testing (FAT).
- Provide technical support both on-site and in the field, including occasional offshore work.
- Maintain and service integration test areas and associated equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to review test specifications, identify issues, and suggest improvements.
- Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, and in-house fault finding.
- Participate in an on-call technical support rota once suitably trained.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
- Strong technical understanding of electronics, hydraulics, and/or computer systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures.
- Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel and work offshore when required.
Desirable:
- ONC/OND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
- 16th/17th/18th Edition electrical regulations.
- Experience with system integration, testing, or commissioning in a technical or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement practices.
