We are working with a manufacturing company in Durham who are looking for someone with an inquisitive mindset, excellent communication skills and who enjoys chasing down opportunities. This company operates within international engineering/manufacturing markets. They are looking for someone who enjoys international travel, occasionally at short notice. You will be experienced in taking a consultative sales approach, producing tenders for main contractors and government bodies internationally.
Brief role outline:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across international markets within a defined sector.
- Communicate with government authorities, design consultants, contractors, OEMs, and clients worldwide.
- Attend and exhibit at international trade shows, client visits, and trade missions (annually).
- Provide technical sales support, guiding clients from initial inquiry to final product selection.
- Manage the sales process from inquiry to quotation, ensuring accurate pricing and margin calculations in multiple currencies.
- Follow up on inquiries, pull together tenders, and generate new leads.
