7.5t Driver Location: Thetford Salary: £14.50 per hour 7.5t Driver Summary Pin Point Recruitment is hiring for a 7.5t Customer Delivery and Installation Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for safely delivering, installing, and collecting a range of electrical products, including White Goods, Televisions, and Cookers, directly into customers’ homes. You will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring every delivery and installation is completed to the highest standard. 7.5t Driver Qualifications * Full UK/EU C1 driving licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points, or eligibility to train towards this licence * Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) * Driver Qualification Card (DQC) – Desirable * Valid Digital Tachograph Card 7.5t Driver Key Responsibilities * Safely deliver, install, and demonstrate electrical products within customers’ homes * Communicate professionally with customers, keeping them informed throughout the delivery and installation process * Maintain regular contact with the site to manage delivery requests and escalate any issues promptly * Use handheld operating devices to complete visits and capture customer signatures accurately * Liaise with manufacturers at delivery points when necessary * Handle all products safely and support colleagues in doing the same * Manage vehicle load safely throughout the day, adjusting and securing as needed using appropriate equipment * Comply fully with all transport legislation, driving regulations, and health and safety policies * Drive safely and courteously, respecting other road users at all times * Represent the company positively as a brand ambassador by modelling professional and customer-focused behaviours * Carry out deliveries and collections of tote boxes and products from retail stores 7.5t Driver Skills & Experience * Passion for delivering excellent customer service * Strong verbal communication skills, both on the phone and face-to-face * Ability to work flexibly, independently, or as part of a team * Safe handling of equipment and products in line with manual handling and health and safety guidelines * Commitment to continuous learning and development * Previous experience driving a 7.5t vehicle or eligibility to train towards the licence (e.g., 6 months experience driving a 3.5t vehicle with no blameworthy accidents and no more than 3 penalty points) * Good problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure If you are a reliable, customer-focused driver ready to take on this important role, please apply via Pin Point Recruitment and a member of our team will be in touch
