Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home (Ofsted) Location: Preston Salary: Up to £59,000 per annum + annual bonus of up to £20,000 Contract: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are recruiting an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the opening of a brand-new therapeutic children's residential home in Preston. You will oversee the registration, development and day-to-day management of the home, supporting children and young people with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and complex needs. This is an exciting opportunity to build your own team, shape a positive home environment and make a lasting difference. Key Responsibilities * Lead the registration and opening of the new home. * Recruit, develop and manage a dedicated care team. * Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards. * Oversee care plans, risk assessments and quality of care. * Manage daily operations, staffing and performance. * Build relationships with families and professionals. * Prepare for Ofsted inspections and participate in the on-call rota. Requirements * Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in an Ofsted-regulated children's home. * Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to achieve it. * Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards. * Excellent leadership and safeguarding skills. * Experience supporting children with complex needs is desirable. * Full UK driving licence required.
