Bookkeeper / Office Administrator
Newburn, Newcastle
Pay: Β£15.00 per hour
Shift time: 9am - 3pm or 10am - 4pm (whatever you prefer)

Main duties
- Prepare invoices and maintain the sales ledger
- Manage the purchase ledger from processing purchase invoices through to making payments
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Preparing trial balances
- Provide management information on an ad hoc basis
- Support with year-end procedures
- General administration duties
- Support the team in answering incoming calls and deal with enquiries.
- Actively optimise supplier costs to minimise expenditure
- Petty cash invoicing
Requirements
- Bookkeeping qualification or proven experience
- Proficiency in IT software packages including Xero and Hubdoc (essential)
- Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to retain confidentiality at all times
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Clear DBS check

- Part time, up to 24 hours per week
