We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of an Alcohol & Recovery Service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the delivery of the service in line with contractual and quality standards.
- Provide supervision, coaching, induction, and development support to staff and volunteers.
- Promote best practice, safeguarding, equality, and health & safety across the service.
- Support recruitment, performance management, and staff development.
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and service data.
- Build effective relationships with commissioners, health professionals, and partner agencies.
- Assist with budget management and continuous service improvement.
- Promote the organisation’s values, mission, and recovery-focused approach.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care, Counselling, Mental Health, Addiction Studies, or relevant experience within substance misuse services.
- Experience working within alcohol, addiction, recovery, or social care services.
- Previous team leadership or staff supervision experience.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, confidentiality, and equality & diversity.
- Good communication, IT, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends where required.
