Support Worker (Temp to Perm) Location: Birtley Salary: £11.44 per hour, increasing to £12.02 after 12 weeks. We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, who is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join their team in a supported living setting. This role begins as a temporary agency position for 12 weeks, transitioning to a permanent role thereafter. Role Overview: As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in improving the lives and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals. We are looking for someone passionate about making a positive impact, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support. Key Responsibilities: * Administering medication. * Supporting individuals with daily living and domestic duties, including cooking, cleaning, and personal care. * Working a combination of day shifts and sleep-ins. * Building positive working relationships with a multi-disciplinary team. * Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of clients at all times. * Maintaining accurate records, such as support plans and MAR charts. * Completing administrative tasks as required. * Communicating regularly with the Service Manager. * Respecting the individuality and confidentiality of each client. * Building and maintaining relationships with service users and their families.
