Our client is looking for a resilient, proactive and compassionate Specialist Temporary Accommodation Officer to join a busy frontline homelessness and housing support service. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about supporting individuals and families facing homelessness, housing insecurity and complex challenges. You will play a key role in helping people sustain tenancies, access support services and move towards stable, long-term accommodation and independence.

Working within a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment, you will manage a varied caseload while building strong relationships with landlords, housing providers, statutory agencies and community organisations.

The Role

  • Support individuals and families who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or living in temporary accommodation
  • Deliver homelessness prevention and tenancy sustainment interventions
  • Complete assessments, support plans and regular case reviews
  • Coordinate wraparound support including housing, wellbeing, financial inclusion and community services
  • Work closely with landlords, housing providers and external agencies to secure positive housing outcomes
