Registered Manager
Childrens Home Location: Hartlepool Salary: £50,000£55,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week, MondayFriday, 9am5pm Contract: Permanent, Full Time We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager, or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up, to lead a brand-new childrens residential home in Hartlepool. The home will support children and young people aged 1017 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an excellent opportunity to shape a new service from the outset, build your own team and create a positive, child-centred environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the home, including: Supporting the Ofsted registration and inspection process Recruiting, managing and developing the staff team Ensuring high standards of safeguarding and care Maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards Managing budgets and operational resources Building relationships with local authorities, families and professionals Promoting positive outcomes for children and young people About You We are looking for someone with: Minimum 2 years residential childcare experience Experience at senior or management level Level 5 Management qualification or willingness to work towards it Good knowledge of Childrens Homes Regulations, Quality Standards and SCCIF Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people Benefits £50,000£55,000 salary plus: 3132 days holiday Enhanced pension Death in service benefit Birthday leave Employee Assistance Programme Health cashback and employee discounts Cycle to Work scheme Enhanced family and sickness benefits Applicants must be UK-based with full right to work in the UK.
