We are searching for an experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our client's night team to support their residents in living happy, healthy and independent lives. If you have experience in care and have previously helped to supervise a team, this could be the perfect role for you. You’ll also need a Health and Social Care qualification (Level 3) so if you are caring, organised and ready to step into a senior role with our client, we would love to hear from you!
What’s the job about? As a Senior Carer, you will combine hands-on care with team leader duties. It is all about ensuring that every resident receives the very best care while mentoring and supporting your colleagues to be their best. Here’s a flavour of what you will be doing:
- Supervising your team so they are confident and skilled in every part of their role.
- Supporting residents with a range of personal care needs, while making sure dignity, respect and privacy are always maintained.
- Ensuring every resident has a comprehensive and up-to-date care plan that reflects their needs.
- Dispensing medication with accuracy and care, keeping detailed records as you go.
