We are seeking a reliable and professional Night Concierge to provide overnight support, security and safeguarding within a supported housing service. As the first point of contact during the night, you will help ensure the safety of residents, respond to incidents and emergencies, and maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overnight waking cover and act as the first point of contact for residents.
- Monitor access to the building, CCTV systems and visitor entry.
- Carry out regular health & safety, welfare and security checks.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents and challenging behaviour.
- Administer first aid where required and liaise with emergency services and on-call management.
- Maintain accurate records, incident reports and handover notes.
- Report maintenance and health & safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with basic cleaning and upkeep of communal areas to maintain a safe environment.
About You
- Experience using your initiative and making decisions in unexpected or emergency situations.
- Confident dealing with challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner.
- Understanding of homelessness, housing support or the challenges faced by vulnerable individuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
