Contract: Fixed Term Contract – 3 Months - potential for permanent at role end if the role is available.

The Role

Working closely with the director, you will conduct a full audit of candidate files to ensure all recruitment records meet framework, regulatory and internal compliance standards. This role would suit someone with previous experience in health and social care compliance, recruitment administration, care coordination, or healthcare staffing administration who understands the importance of maintaining accurate and compliant candidate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive audits of candidate and employee files.
  • Review documentation against framework requirements and internal compliance standards.
  • Identify missing, expired or non-compliant documentation.
  • Verify Right to Work documentation, DBS records, references, training certificates and other mandatory compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate audit records and update internal systems.
  • Liaise with consultants, candidates and compliance staff to obtain outstanding documentation.
  • Escalate compliance concerns and discrepancies where required.
  • Support the wider compliance team with administrative tasks throughout the project.
  • Ensure all information is handled in line with GDPR and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous administration experience within Health & Social Care, Healthcare Recruitment, Social Care, Nursing, Domiciliary Care or Supported Living environments.
  • Strong understanding of compliance documentation and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage large volumes of information accurately and efficiently.

Desirable

  • Previous experience auditing healthcare recruitment files.
  • Knowledge of framework requirements and healthcare staffing compliance.
  • Experience using recruitment or compliance management systems.
