About Us: Our client is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care for their residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in delivering outstanding care and driving excellence across the service.

The Role: As Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the home. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will lead and support the care team to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and proactive individual who is ready to take the next step in their career in adult social care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the overall management of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and regulations.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of empathy, respect, and continuous improvement.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support care staff, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
  • Support the preparation for inspections and audits.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
  • Manage care plans and ensure accurate documentation and medication management.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a care home or similar setting.
  • You must be a Registered Nurse NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (minimum); Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards it.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and person-centred care.
  • Passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
