About the Role

We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and dedicated Children’s Residential Support Workers to join our team in Enfield. You’ll be working in a warm, supportive environment, providing care and guidance to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and challenging behaviour. As part of a close-knit team, you will help create a safe, nurturing, and structured home where young people can thrive, develop life skills, and build positive futures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people
  • Support with daily routines, education, and recreational activities
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and positive behaviour
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning
  • Work closely with colleagues and professionals (social workers, therapists, schools)
  • Ensure the home meets regulatory standards and safeguarding requirements

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people in residential or similar settings (preferred)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Resilience, patience, and empathy when managing challenging behaviour
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins and weekends
