Creative Design Consultant

Pimlico Strategy & Insights is a London-based consulting and research firm founded in 2023 to provide bespoke services for clients across diverse industries.

We specialise in advisory services, expert horizon scanning (XHS™), and market intelligence for C-suite and regulatory compliance teams.

Our three month Creative Design Consultant internships (2x) provide advanced training in skills crucial for design for the research and consulting industries, including the use of generative AI and the latest tools in the in the creative process.

The internships are part-time and currently unpaid but have the possibility to convert to an entry-level contract role dependent upon performance and/or client projects.

Responsibilities

• Align graphic innovation and techniques with creative briefs set by the design lead.
• Take ownership of the product life cycle associated with your artwork and product.
• Transform research ideas into design concepts by creating initial designs to present.
• Utilise advanced skills in Canva, Powerpoint, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Qualifications

• Studying or recently completed degree in graphic design, visual communication, or multimedia design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design work, preferably in corporate, research, or data visualisation contexts.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
• Experience designing presentations, infographics, reports, and digital assets.
• Familiarity with AI-driven design tools and a willingness to explore emerging technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting and explaining design concepts.
• Strong attention to typography, layout, and brand consistency.
• Video editing and production skills a plus, but not essential.

Shortlisting of candidates will commence on April 7th, with a two stage interview process beginning April 14th.

The successful candidates will be notified end of for a target start date of May 6th.
