IT Support Team Lead 6 Month Contract Onsite Pimlico Banks is recruiting an IT Support Team Lead to join an established organisation in Birmingham on an initial six-month contract. This is a hands-on role within a small team responsible for supporting, preparing, repairing and managing IT equipment across the business. Were looking for someone with good all-round IT support experience who is also comfortable taking the lead within a small team. You dont necessarily need to be an existing Team Leader were equally interested in a strong Senior IT Support or 2nd Line person who is ready to take that next step. The role Hands-on IT support across laptops, desktops and other IT equipment Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues Windows installation, configuration and troubleshooting Preparing and configuring new and replacement equipment Triage and basic repair of faulty equipment Managing IT equipment through its lifecycle Maintaining stock and asset records Booking equipment in and out Supporting equipment replacement, reuse and disposal Helping organise and prioritise work across the team Supporting more junior members of the team Making sure work is completed within agreed timescales Looking for ways to improve processes and how the team operates
