Pimlico Academy is seeking an exceptional and ambitious leader to join our senior leadership team as Vice Principal (Academic). The Vice Principal (Academic) will provide strategic leadership across all areas of curriculum, teaching and learning, assessment, and academic outcomes. The successful candidate will:

  • Lead on curriculum intent and implementation across all key stages
  • Champion excellent teaching, pedagogy, and professional development
  • Oversee assessment integrity, examinations, literacy development, and academic standards
  • Line‑manage key senior and middle leaders, including Heads of Department
  • Drive academic improvement through data analysis, action planning, and quality assurance
  • Contribute to the wider strategic direction and day‑to‑day leadership of the academy
  • Deputise for the Principal when required

This role is suited to an individual with a deep understanding of high‑quality teaching, strong curriculum expertise, and a proven track record of leadership impact. You will be a visible, inspiring presence who models professionalism, scholarship, and ambition.
