Through PIMES, we have an exciting opportunity for a Market Trader / Second-hand Sales Assistant to join our team. This position will be based in Kingston upon Thames, working for an environmental company that specialises in sustainable and eco-friendly house clearance. We're looking for someone who loves to negotiate and haggle, with an interest in second-hand goods and antiques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting sales of second-hand items and antiques to customers.
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and offering advice on products.
  • Taking initiative.
  • Communicating with other departments to ensure efficient sales operations.
  • Managing inventory and keeping track of stock levels.
  • Demonstrating confidence whilst negotiating prices with customers to achieve the best possible outcome for both parties.
  • Handling cash transactions and managing sales records.
