The Opportunity:

Through PIMES, we have an exciting opportunity for a Market Trader / Second-hand Sales Assistant to join our team. This position will be based in Kingston upon Thames, and you will be working for an environmental company, who specialise in sustainable and eco-friendly house clearance. We're looking for someone who loves to negotiate and haggle, with an interest in second hand goods and antiques.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting sales of second-hand items and antiques to customers
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and offering advice on products
  • Taking initiative
  • Communicating with other departments to ensure efficient sales operations
  • Managing inventory and keeping track of stock levels
  • Demonstrating confidence whilst negotiating prices with customers, to achieve the best possible outcome for both parties
  • Handling cash transactions and managing sales records
