The Role
Our client is looking for a Senior Solutions Analyst to join the growing Defence team. You will work directly with clients to understand complex problems, shape analytical solutions, and support the delivery of decision-support tools and insights. This role sits at the intersection of consulting, data, and technology, requiring both structured problem-solving and strong stakeholder engagement. You will be expected to operate confidently in front of customers, helping to translate real-world challenges into data-driven solutions that improve decision-making and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage small to medium client engagements
- Work closely with customers to understand problems, define objectives, and shape solutions
- Facilitate workshops and structured discovery sessions
- Translate business and operational challenges into analytical use cases
- Define high-level solution approaches, working with technical teams to deliver
- Support the development of proposals, scopes, and estimates
- Ensure high-quality delivery and clear communication of outputs
Key Competencies
- Experience in consulting, transformation, or problem-solving roles (e.g. strategy, operations, or analytics consulting)
- Strong structured problem-solving skills and the ability to work in ambiguous environments
- Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders and lead discussions
- Understanding of how data and analytics can be used to drive business or operational value
- Experience shaping solutions at a conceptual level (e.g. processes, systems, and data architecture)
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC)
