Role Summary

The Associate assists Origination Manager and Senior Origination Manager in the analysis, underwriting and closing of mandate‑compliant lending transactions for our investors. With growing transaction experience, the Associate continuously expands the area of responsibility and starts acquiring own client relationships and network.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial and cash flow modeling to assess and quantify the risk principles associated with new real estate financing opportunities
• Use internal models to assess loan ratings
• Prepare committee documents and participate in the debt investment committee
• Draft appropriately structured term sheets and partially negotiate with borrowers
• Work with internal and external legal advisors to partially negotiate legal documentation
• Carry out legal and tax real estate due diligence with internal experts and external advisors
• Support smooth handover to the loan management team

Key Requirements

• 2‑4 years experience in lending or structured financing
• Advanced graduate degree in Real Estate, Management, Finance, Economics or similar qualifications; CFA or RICS is a plus
• Excellent modelling skills on Excel
• Fluent in English; an additional European language is a plus
• Background in lending activity or financing
• Curiosity, reactivity and strong communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
• Previous experience with Argus Enterprise is a plus
• Knowledge of the relevant property market
• Good negotiation and commercial skills
• Experience in an international and multicultural business environment
• Ability to navigate across different projects and departments and to work with a wide variety of people in the organization
• Hands‑on mentality and persistence to carry out projects and tasks
• Ability to work in a team
• Communication & presentation abilities
• Constantly performs above average and shows unremitting engagement, loyalty towards the company
