PIMCO is looking for an experienced Real Estate Asset Management professional to join its growing alternatives team in London. Working within the EMEA Commercial Real Estate equity team, the Asset Manager will actively manage a collection of investments across various jurisdictions and parts of the capital structure. Development expertise and experience in overseeing developments is critical. The key responsibility of this hire will be to manage complex investments and oversee best execution of operating partners and portfolio companies. Providing drive and leadership, the individual must communicate frequently with other members of the EMEA CRE team to capitalize on group synergies and to ensure decisions are consistent with the overall investment thesis.
Responsibilities
- Critically assess the execution and risk management of various investments.
- Be willing to challenge and engage with various operating partners and operating companies.
- Assess risk management at all stages of a transaction.
- Experience in exiting complex investments.
- Experience in restructuring and business plan modifications.
Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in private equity real estate asset management, or with a REIT or investment manager.
- Proven development experience is essential.
- Proficiency in a foreign language is a plus.
- Experience across both commercial and residential real estate investments.
